It's 2023, Here's how I made a song using only my phone for everything.
The year is 2023. What does that mean to the music producers, beat makers, and graphic designers?
Due to the high rate of technology and the increasing number of musicians, engineers, videographers, and graphics designers, it is no longer necessary for one to own the most expensive Computer or Laptop with high speed response. All you need is the best ANDROID phone, tablet, or just an iPhone or an iPad.
These are the apps I run on my Samsung A33 5G, 4gb Ram.
.FL Studio Mobile
.BandLab
.Canva
.CapCut
.JotterPad

I am pleased to be one of the evolving music producers in SA. What I've experienced while using these above me mentioned apps is that it's possible to reach whatever goal you might have with whatever gadgets you have.
I have realised that PCs and Laptops are soon to be a thing if the past in music creation as Goggle have already introduced CHRIMEBOOKS, even the smartphones we own can get the job done.
You can now do it all on your phone if you have the knowledge, I have managed to write my lyrics on JOTTERPAD, then created a beat on FL STUDIO MOBILE then I switched to BANDLAB and recorded my vocals as if I was using a PC, what I loved the most about BandLab is the pitch correction plugin which is easy to use and also that you can easily master your song just after recording. I will write a full article about BandLab and its features.
For a year close to 2 I've used CAPCUT for may short videos lesser than a 5minutes and it's actually the best on mobile, but you will need knowledge of the app in oder to be able to do much in short time. Since I've got CANVA on my device I haven't used Adobe photoshop in few months now, Canva is also the best for graphic designs on mobile devices.
Please note that all the apps I've mentioned above are the best at what they do but you also need some time to get used to them, most of them took me less than a month to master them.
Don't be discouraged by the fact that your first beat in FLM won't be nice unless you have experience, keep making those beats until you are happy with them, the same applies to the other apps as well. All you need is time to learn then created unless you have used the most popular softwares then you have the experience and it won't take you long to learn a new app.
Soon I'll be dropping a tutorial video showing how I used these apps to make music, I will also share the platforms to help you get your music to most popular online stores like Spotify, Tidal, etc.
